President

Picture
Bettina was born and raised in Weimar, Germany. In 2002 she moved to New York City and began her career in the financial service industry as a Senior Marketing Manager, working for Citibank and later American Express. Bettina holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Friedrich-Schiller Universität in Jena, Germany. She relocated in 2013 to Charlotte, NC which she now calls home.
Since 2014, she has worked as a Marketing SVP at Bank of America. At the beginning of 2021 Bettina has become active in the Charlotte Market Employee Engagement Team to foster Diversity and Inclusion within Bank of America.
While growing up in Weimar surrounded by the spirit of the “Weimarer Klassik” the idea of the Zeitgeist Foundation seems like a natural continuation of her upbringing.
Bettina resides with her husband and 3 children in the Freedom Park area of Charlotte. She likes gardening and history. In addition, she enjoys any outdoor activities with her family which are also supporters of the YWCA and Trees Charlotte.
