Peter Betz

Originally from Stuttgart in Germany, Hans-Peter Betz completed a classical apprenticeship in international freight forwarding. After being station manager for Trans Mediterranean Airways at the airport of Stuttgart, he joined EMO TRANS GmbH in 1971 and became its export manager.

In 1979, he moved to Charlotte to open the EMO TRANS office; first, he became partner and is now sole owner of the business since 2000. The company is a full service freight company, export and import, land, sea and air transports and has warehouse space of more than 1 mio sqft under roof. Peter and his three daughters manage this very successful logistic company.
